You can update/change your registration and billing information, including whether you want to receive e-mail from KnowledgeStor, at any time after you register by clicking Change Info on the navigation menu.

We do not use or disclose information about your individual visits to KnowledgeStor or information that you may give us, such as your name, address, or e-mail address to any outside companies, but we may share with our partners aggregated statistical "ratings" information about the use of KnowledgeStor. Session Tracking and Use of Cookies

What is a cookie?

Content usage and traffic on the site are tracked by use of "cookies," a feature of your browser. Cookies are pieces of information that a web site transfers to your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. The use of cookies is an industry standard, and many major web sites use them to provide useful features for their customers. Cookies in and of themselves do not personally identify users, although they do identify a user's computer. This helps the browser remember information about you, such as whether you are a guest or a registered member of KnowledgeStor. A cookie is a simple piece of text; it isn't dangerous to your computer.

Why does KnowledgeStor use cookies?

Cookies identify you and your access privileges on our site. For example, before we can give you access to your account information, we must confirm who you are. We do this by using cookies. Therefore, if you delete your cookie, we will not be able to identify you and you will not have access to your account information through the sub-navigation menu provided on most pages.

Cookies are also used to make searching on our site more convenient. The standard web server uses what is known as "stateless" connections - that is, each time you connect with a web site, it's a new connection to the server. The server ordinarily has no knowledge of any requests you might have made before. We use cookies to allow the server to maintain the state of your last search for up to 30 minutes, so when you come back to the search page, the default will be set from your most recent search.

We also use cookies to track usage of the website. We never give out information to others about individual usage. We may, however, share with our partners and advertisers aggregated statistical "ratings" information about the use of KnowledgeStor.

Will I receive unsolicited e-mail if I accept your cookies?

No. Acceptance of cookies on our Web site does not result in your receiving any additional e-mail from us. When you register, you are given the choice whether to receive e-mail from KnowledgeStor regarding service offerings. You can update this choice at any time by clicking Customer Service in the sub-navigation menu in the upper left corner of your screen.

What if the Privacy Policy Changes?

If KnowledgeStor decides to make any changes to its Privacy Policy, you will be made aware of the fact that a change has been made via a message on the home page. This message will advise you to review the privacy policy and will remain on the home page for approximately 30 days from the day the change was made.
