Overview
Welcome to KnowledgeStor, a unique service powered by MediaDNA that
provides access to The Best Content on the Web. KnowledgeStor comprises an exclusive set of
premium archived digital content that includes thousands of articles. Each
article within this set has its own usage rules. Usage rules are simply the options the
publisher allows regarding what you can do with the content. Some publishers let you view
articles, while others may let you view and print or copy the article. These usage rules
are what define the content as premium and what makes KnowledgeStor unique. By adhering to
these usage rules, KnowledgeStor can protect distribution of the content while at the same
time provide you with access to it.
Our Technology
Because this premium content is unique to KnowledgeStor, we must
provide you with the means by which to access it. MediaCenter is a free
software plug-in that lets you begin accessing articles. MediaCenter is the software
application that KnowledgeStor uses to keep track of your purchased articles.
How does KnowledgeStor work?
Accessing articles from KnowledgeStor involves the following easy steps:
- MediaCenter, a free, downloadable software plug-in, is required to view KnowledgeStor
articles. But you don't have to worry about MediaCenter until you select an article. You
will then be asked if you want to download the software.
- Depending upon the publication, you may receive free evaluation articles.
- After you register a member account, you may
purchase new articles at a substantially discounted rate.
- You may continue accessing articles until a limit of $80.00 is reached.
How will
I be billed?
You will be requested to pay your account balance as soon as the $80.00 limit is
reached, or, if your balance is less than $80.00, within 30 days of purchase. If you have made several purchases, they may be added together and appear on your bill as a single item. After you pay your balance,
you will have access to new articles. For detailed information on billing, see Payment/Billing Information.
